Best foods to slow down the aging process

Aren’t we all trying to look younger and feel better? Well, although a fountain of youth does not exist, there are some foods that have been proven to slow the aging process and make us look and feel younger. Here are some foods that need to be added into your daily diet:


1. Carrots- Carrots are high in beta carotene and according to research, people who eat a carrot a day can significantly slow down the aging process as well as prevent a number of diseases.
2. Sunflower seeds- Sunflower seeds are loaded with vitamin E which blocks damage to your skin from exposure to the sun and from free radicals as well.
3. Tomatoes- Tomatoes are rich in anti oxidants which fight free radicals. Free radicals cause damage to your skin cells, and the more anti oxidants you get in your diet the better your body can destroy them to keep your skin looking young.
4. Water- Water is one of the most important things you can do to detoxify your body. Getting plenty of water is crucial to your skin and your overall health.
5. Omega-3 found in fish- Fish such as Salmon is high in Omega-3 fatty acids and protein. Eating is twice a week has been proven to reduce the risk of different types of cancers, stroke and heart disease, and have been found to ease arthritis pain and lessen depression.
